Photo Release & Consent

Version 1 · July 2026 · SF Wire, Inc., doing business as Drew Altizer Photography and The Instant Studio ("we," "us," or the "Company").

This is the one agreement that covers your photos from this event. You accept it by tapping "Agree & Send" when you send photos to yourself (or by submitting a selfie to find your photos, where that feature is offered). You only need to accept it once.

1. You confirm you are 18 or older

By accepting, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are the parent or legal guardian of a minor appearing in the photos and accept on their behalf.

2. Photo release

You grant the Company a worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to capture, store, copy, edit, restyle (including with AI), display (for example in the event gallery, on-site displays, and delivery pages), and deliver photographs taken at this event that include your likeness. This license is transferable and assignable to the Company's affiliated, parent, subsidiary, and successor companies under SF Wire, Inc. (including Drew Altizer Photography and The Instant Studio web properties).

3. The event host may receive your photos and contact details

Events are often commissioned by a host or brand (the "Client"). Where the event's organizer enables it, the Company may provide the Client with event photographs (including those with your likeness) and, if you sent photos to yourself, the email address or phone number you entered. The Client may use the photographs under this same release for its own records and promotion of the event. If you do not want this, don't accept — you can still enjoy the gallery, AirDrop, QR, and print options without entering contact details.

4. Face data (biometrics)

With your consent, the Company may create and store a mathematical representation of faces appearing in photographs ("face data") for these purposes only: finding your photos in a gallery (for example, matching a selfie you submit), captioning and identification, and organizing and delivering images. We do not sell face data, and we do not use it to make decisions about you. Face data is retained only as long as needed for these purposes and is deleted on request (see Section 6).

5. What we do — and don't — do with your information

We use your email address or phone number to send you the photos you requested, to operate the service, and — where enabled by the event organizer — to provide it to the event Client as described in Section 3.
We do not sell your personal information.

6. Your choices

You may request deletion of your photos, contact details, or face data, or ask questions about this release, at drew@drewaltizer.com. Galleries are time-limited and are erased after the event's retention window.

7. Acceptance

Tapping "Agree & Send" (or submitting a selfie where offered) is your electronic signature and acceptance of this release. This release is governed by the laws of the State of California.
